At PROJECT we have been developing embedded systems since our start in 1984, though that very term was not yet in use. We were initially focused on industrial control and have an extended background in real-time and multi-tasking.

The systems we contributed implementing include:

• industrial automation / process control
• test and measurement
• safety systems
• automotive / in-vehicle infotainment & telematics

Products and services

Most of our embedded development is OS-level rather than application-level. Many of our customers rely on us to get an OS working on their hardware, but we can put our expertise to work on embedded applications, when needed.

We have been a Windows Embedded Partner since 2002 and started doing Windows Embedded platform development in 1999, but this is not our exclusive interest. When the first devices based on Android OS became available, we started studying how to build that OS for running on a custom embedded system and in 2011 we added Android to our platform development portfolio.
